Our Sunflower Breakfast is an opportunity for all of us to reflect on the year that has passed as well as look ahead toward the work we have yet to accomplish.
Our mission is to combat, reduce, and prevent homelessness in the Capital Region. That hasn’t changed in our 90 years of dedicated service. To this end, we are eternally grateful for the generous contributions of the community.
Our success comes from your support, it’s that simple.
This year’s Sunflower Breakfast is a celebration of that success, as well as an opportunity for us to recognize two compassionate leaders within the community. Through their commitment to stand with us every step of the way, they truly put the community first and have earned the title Champions of Compassion.
Please join us in recognizing this year’s Champions of Compassion
We believe in celebrating our successes and recognizing those among us who lead our community in making a difference, but as many of you know, we have a long road ahead.
Your ticket to The Sunflower Breakfast does more than secure you a seat at the table. By joining us on November 9th you are helping us take another step in our mission to combat, reduce, and prevent homelessness in the Capital Region. Every ticket makes a difference, and just like a fresh cut bunch of cheery sunflowers—the more the merrier!
A Champion of Compassion is a member of the community who recognizes the dire need that exists in the Capital Region. A Champion is someone who feels compelled to make a difference. A Champion is someone who does not hesitate to make his or her commitment to change known.
